Greek chow near the Throg's Neck?

laylag,

where in queens do you recommend?

Ever so slightly closer to the Throgs Neck than Greek Islands is Avli on Bell Blvd. in Bayside. My Greek mom-in-law says they have the most authentic Greek food in town (besides what she makes at home), and she's hard to please!

Good to know Plomeek. Will give Avli a try.

Hey Rafi - sorry just saw this. We were introduced by friends to a place in Little Neck on Northern Blvd. called Greek Islands. It is excellent, fresh, tasty, wonderfully warm service and just a hop skip and jump over the Throg's Neck.

I'm in Mmk so same here. Oh, and the prices at Greek Island are very reasonable too.

Not laylag, but, for fabulous fresh fish, and fun atmosphere, we love (and have returned to, for the same reasons cited by laylag) Telly's Taverna.
