They've been closed this week. I wonder what's up.

There's a "For Lease" Sign in the window. It's a shame they didn't last very long.

bgut1 yes I saw that the other night when I went for dinner at Jimmy C's.......I had Ices there on their opening day in August.....maybe the rent is to high to last the winter thru?....its a shame I love that area at night.

To update my earlier post, there is now a small sign in the window announcing that Uncle Louie's Italian Ices is coming soon. I wish them the best of luck.

                  Same owners I would assume?

Tapas52 - I've noticed that they have opened as well. While I wish them the best and welcome them to the downtown, I am concerned with the choice of business due to the seasonality of the product, its limited specialty and the reduced after hours foot traffic. Also, why wait until the end of summer to open an Italian ice store? Either way, I intend to give them a try and hope others do as well.

Please keep us posted on your experiences....

I would imagine maybe licences for a location like this could have caused the late summer delay? Maybe also they will offer more then Ices too for the winter months.
