STL- Late night eats near the Pageant Theater??
My husband is working a project near the Pageant Theater from 6pm-6am 7 nights a week for while. They can't leave the job site for long but one guy can run out for take-out. These guys are eating their lunch around midnight but could go a little earlier if necessary.
Any ideas of places in that general area that would either deliver to the job site or allow a call in or pick up??

re: FriendOfTheDevil
Not really much help.... he needs really needs delivery to a job site.... but thanks - he couldn't see the dozens of restaurants in a couple block.
My question was specific - places in the general area that might be willing to deliver and/or allow for a late night call for a quick run in to pick up the food.In their "free" time of the drive to and from 12 hour shifts, they are unable to grab take out menus.....LOL

I don't know about the delivery, but I was answering your question.I am fairly sure that every single restaurant in the loop without exception will accept a late night carry out.
I also believe that 90+% of the places will have web sites and menus on the web if you look.FOTD
If you want my favorites or what I hear is good-
Ciceros- I like their Pizza
I hear Pi is good but have not been
Blueberry Hill- Good burgers and lots of other stuff
Riddles- Delicious-
re: FriendOfTheDevil
I can answer that many of the places stop serving food at about 10. That's not late night, in this case. They were turned down for take out at least 2 places that they walked into so far. They get about 30 minutes to eat and they have to eat in shifts- they don't have time to walk 3 blocks.
I already LOOKED on-line. Many places either don't have websites or the websites don't have menus listed. Honestly, if you don't have anything to contribute to a thread....just don't.
Soooo, if anyone knows of any restaurants on the Delmar loop that serve food LATE (midnight), that would do take out and/or delivery....please let me know.

Hey, lrstl, you have made some nice contributions in the past but you are WAY too frustrated and lashing out. FOTD was contributing to the thread -- there are websites for cicero and riddles (i got them immediately) and blueberry hill is a classic. Maybe they can't meet the specific needs of your husband -- few places in St. Louis could -- but don't get nasty.

re: TwoPointers
Peace out, lrstl. You know, after living in L.A. for so long, what amazes me when I visit StL is that the grocery stores aren't all open 24/7. My goodness, you want some latenight beverages and snacks and the Schnuck's closes at 10?!? WTF! Now I have to go searching for some drugstore or pay convenience store markups...

re: TwoPointers
Thanks. Last night the folks that own the Chinese Noodle Cafe said that although the chef walks out the door at 9:30 or 10:30 depending on the night of the week... "Mama" could whip something up for them so it was hot later than that. I thought that was very kind of the owner. The mother said she'd be happy to do that.
So note to others.... though the Chinese Noodle Cafe closes at 10:30 on Fri/Sat, it sounds like you have to order your food 30 minutes earlier because the chef leaves immediately at closing time!
