Raw Oysters

Where would be the best restaurant in the city to have some oysters on the half shell? Need a place with a really good raw bar.

Thanks for the help.

I haven't been in a long while, and it's not an oyster bar, but Zuni's used to do a nice oyster assortment.

oysters at zuni always works. they also know how to make a killer vodka gimlet (straight up) to enhance the little devils.

I'm fond of swan's Oyster Depot on Polk Street, just above California. It's a marble counter with wooden stools, family run and friendly, but basically a long lunch--they close after their lunch service. You can also buy seafood to take out.

Hog Island in the Ferry Building, always at least 4 varieties, amazing view, great hot dishes (stews, chowder, and salads) and great service.
