New Paltz area recommendations

We're going to the New Paltz Fair this weekend. Any recommendations for lunch and dinner? Anything but Indian food-hubby won't eat it. Thanks in advance

Eileen- We love the Guilded Otter- it is a brewery and restaurant on Main Street- They serve American Fare.

We have enjoyed Beso right on Main Street. It's defintitely more upscale. Also Gadaletto's is good - especially this time of year for their lobster dinner!

One more - Main Course is really good. They are a great catering outfit that has a small restaurant that is very casual. Gadaletto's is really casual also. I would probably call ahead for a reservation to any of these places as I imagine they all get quite busy during the fair.
