Portland with Parents

I love dining out in Portland and have no problems finding places to go....this trip will be a little different and I need some help! My parents are visiting middle of September and we are coming down from Seattle for a few days. I would love some recommendations for good neighborhood restaurants, not too trendy or pricey that you can get good local fare in a comfortable environment. Italian, Chinese or Greek are also options...they are not super adventurous eaters.

We will be going to Kenny & Zukes for lunch and that's all I got!

Thanks in advance.

Country Cat! I had a dinner here with my in-laws that made all of us happy, because it was homey enough for them to feel comfortable and good food for me! It's really out in one of the neighborhoods on SE Stark.

Tabla (great $24 for 3-courses deal)
      Country Cat
      Basta's
Wildwood (though it may be a bit pricey, it meets all your other requirements)
      Cava
      Cafe Castagna
      Pambiche (Cuban)
      Karam (Lebanese)
Podnah's Pit (Texas-style BBQ, and great Sat and Sun brunch with no wait)
SImpatica for Brunch (Sun. only, go early or wait long)
