Birdbath Bakery Hack?
HELP! Trying to recreate vegan treat from Birdbath Bakery, NYC
Anyone have any ideas on how to recreate Birdbath's vegan banana-sesame-agave cake? I had it the other day and it was so good. Crunchy texture on the outside from a coating of sesame seeds and nice and moist on the inside with the banana. A nice sesame/banana flavor throughout. I was thinking this would make a great breakfast food.

I don't know the recipe and can't even begin to think what might go in it, although the texture reminds me a lot of the Metropolitan Bakery's (in Philly) Millet Muffin. The Birdbath one is awesome and i hope someone can find us a recipe! I used to have the millet muffin recipe and will look for it, because maybe it can be vegan-ized and might work!

They're pretty high in eggs and butter, but if you know how to veganize, it might be doable. I guess why I'm pushing these as a possible way to figure out the banana-sesame-agave is that I've had both muffins and the textures are practically identical! The sesame could take the place of the millet so easily!
