Wonton Soup

Chowhounders, any recs on places around LA that serve Wonton Soup with clear broth, preferably with no MSG.

I prefer this to the dark broth served at Sam Woo which is OK.

Harbour Kitchen, formerly Regent Cafe. Their wonton noodle soup is good. The noodles are a little bit overcooked, but the wontons are great. So if you just want the wontons and clear broth, theirs is very good. I don't know about the msg. They also have very good jook (porridge).

The wonton noodle soup at Sunday Bistro is really good too, but lots of msg.

Paul Kitchen on San Pedro does a good Won Ton. However I prefer their Wor Won Ton. A meal in a bowl..

Second your rec on Wor Won Ton at PK's....definitely a destination meal in itself. Love to put loads of those crispy fried noodles into it. I'm pretty sure they use MSG.

Not sure about the MSG, but I love the wonton soup @ Har Lam Kee in Monterey Park. Flavorful wontons (and dumplings), and clear chicken broth with a few veggies. I usually ask for extra scallions to make it perfecto!

call me crazy, but try Original Thai BBQ. they have a wonton soup. its clear broth..not sure if it has MSG..
