applebee's unlimited panko-crusted shrimp?
it is an all-you-can-eat promotion, and i love shrimp! has anyone tried the shrimp?
what sauces do they serve other than the mentioned cocktail sauce? remoulade? aioli? can you get substitute sauces?

Me and hubby had the all you can eat shrimp and chicken strips at Applebees today. On a scale of1-10, I would give the shrimp a 10! They were cooked to perfection, piping hot, and NO tails on them. They were medium size, not like small popcorn type shrimp like Red Lobsters. The chicken was also delish, first order was slightly overdone and dried out. On the first order we got prob 30 shrimp and 5 chicken strips, second order prob 15 shrimp and 3 strips. I would definetely order again and highly recommend.

re: big o
My 10 out of 10 rating applies to the shrimp at Applebees.....which is what the OP was asking......and is posted correctly under "chains".....so.......as far as chain fried shrimp go, I give it a 10..............nothing to do with it being the "best" meal that I have ever had.............

Watch out for AYCE at Applebee's. I tried that with the riblets years ago, and the portions started shrinking by the second plate. The third was puny and took forever to come out. I then gave up.

re: alkapal
Dunno about Red Lobster, but I remember back when I was in high school, after practice we would always head out to Sizzlers and after a while, the place would start skimping on their greasy, cheese toast. It took the kitchen about 20 minutes to give our ENTIRE table 2 pieces of freaking toast!

Is this the double crunch shrimp that you are talking about? Or is it something else?
I like shrimp alot myself, but the double crunch shrimp I had at Applebees was rather greasy and too thickly breaded. I couldn't stomach more than 3 shrimp, sadly enough.
I couldn't even begin to think the kind of culinary conundrum I would be in if it was an "all-you-can-eat" scenario ...
