Celiac friendly in Clemson, SC?

Does anyone know of any Chow-worthy restaurants or take out places in or near Clemson that have gluten-free dishes? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

although I'm not familiar with the area around Clemson, a few modifications to ordering will accommodate you....I travel quite a bit with my son who is a 12-yr old Celiac....when we go out he orders things like a steak or cheeseburger without bun and a baked potato..when ordering mashed we ask the server if flour was used as a thickener.....we stay away from fries, as the fryer could contain oil that breaded foods were cooked in....I would say a safe bet is to use common sense as I'm sure you do at home, ask your server if certain dishes are made using flour....

Thanks for the advice! I'm actually asking for a friend of mine who normally does all of those things. But sometimes a restaurant menu will actually indicate if a dish is gluten-free, dairy-free, etc. and that was what I was hoping to find. It makes it easier on her if she can know 100% that a dish is safe.
