Best Margaritas?

I have a cousin coming in from out of town who is a HUGE fan of margaritas (she's on her way to San Diego to get some after a few days in Chicago). Where can she get her fix while here? I thought the margaritas at Adobo Grill were awesome, and probably the best I've had. Canyou recommend anywhere else??

  1. GO TO LALO'S-don't get the premium ones, get the run-of-the-mill everyday ones, and ON THE ROCKS please, not brain-freeze world.

    1. I'm a fan of adobo grill. They have a great tequila selection (for me the margarita is all about the tequila). their house margarita is w/ herradura silver and hand squeezed lime.

If you liked adobo and want to explore tequila some more, try Salud or Salpicon.
(I don't actually live in Chicago but I do drink tequila pretty much any city I travel to :)

      1. The margaritas at Adobo Grill are indeed very good - but I also love the ones at Frontera Grill - particularly the one with mezcal. I also think the atmosphere in the bar at Frontera is more fun, and you can eat at the bar as well.

        1. I've been to Lalo's and yea...their margaritas are amazing!!!

          1. El Jardin on Clark St. 1 1/2 blocks from Wrigley Field or in Glenview in the section called the Glen. The best Margaritas around!
