Coastal OC, Best Value Upscales?

Gawd, so what;s with all that carping on this site about Palmer's, Mastro's (Both CN & NC), Zov's, Wildfish etc etc and so many erstwhile institutions as well as trumpeted newcomers, could it be all about expectations dashed, oh my? So wonder, any upscale choices that offer such outstanding value that even pickiest prima donnas will concede, if reluctantly, outstanding chow for the moolah y'know?

Sorry, I am not sure if you are asking for upscale but at rock bottom prices or upscale that is worth the value of it's possibly costlier price?

Anyways, I love Sapphire's for their barramundi and truffle fries and also Tommy Bahamas for their scallop slider.
