good places to eat in myrtle beach

i'm going to myrtle beach in a few weeks & i need some sugestions for resturaunts in myrtle beach either near broadway at the beach or near the old pavilion site.

Salt Creek Cafe is on Hyghway 19 Bypass in the Murrells Inlet area. The address is 4660 Highway 17 Bypass. A husband and wife are the owners-he is the chef and she is the front person. Go for happy hour 3-6. Great values with drinks and meals. The service was great and they really care that you have a great meal and a great experience.

they have five or six cocktails that are THREE DOLLARS ALL DAY LONG.Food is very good too.

Near the Old Pavilion (801 Main St) is Sun City Cafe. Small place with small menu but everything is super. Caribbean/Mexican style food includes tacos (fish, chicken, steak, shrimp or combo) and my favorite the Sun City Chicken - baked lime-cured, chicken breast w/a spinach-cheese sauce. Prices are reaonable.

2nd the Liberty reference, one of my favorites mostly because I'm a beer snob. Abuelo's is a good upscale Mexican restaurant @ Coastal Mall. Rioz decent Brazilian Steakhouse.

several good choices in pawley's island. short drive, but worth it IMO.

a really good small place is on the right as you turn onto pawley's. it's a little pink building called inlet crab shack. only place in the area you can get fried blue crab claws. it's a bar atmosphere but the food is reasonable and delicious.

You can also get fried blue crab claws at California Dreaming and Carolina Roadhouse (owned by the same chain). Very good there as well.

At Broadway I would recommend Liberty -- they have a good happy hour as well (only in the bar) with 1/2 price apps from 4 to 7 everyday.
