Microware dishes with "ears"

It seems all the current Pyrex containers, at least the round ones, have straight sides, which make them hard to remove from a microwave when hot. WHY did they stop making the small cassaroles with "ears"?

Anybody know a source for small (2-3 CUP) round glass bowls with ears, and preferrably lids? I might resort to ebay, but would love to find a source for new.

Not Pyrex, but there were some Chantal round ceramic bowls with ears and lid at Marshalls for about $9. I can't find it on Chantal's website, but I still see them from time to time at Marshalls.
