?Blu in Hastings on Hudson

Looking for a restaurant that has an interesting menu and some atmosphere. Want to give a GC as a thank you to some friends who live in Armonk. Had some recommendations for Opus 465 and Stoneleigh Creek. Came across this one and wondered if anyone has eaten here or knows anything about it. Thx.

The food is good but not great. I honestly don't remember what I ordered but I remember the service was very attentive because we were the only ones in the place on a weekend night. I live in Hastings and we go there every so often. There was a time it was quite good, then it became pretty bad, not about 75% back up the scale. If you can go and eat outside it is worth it. Some of the dishes can be pretty good. Nothing is amazing. It's all very pricey. Pretty much the same as X2O, but there, you get better food, better service and the same view. Only problem is getting in to x2O, never an issue with blu.

Have only had brunch there, which was quite nicely done, and good service.

Thanks so much for your comments on Blu and recommendation of Red Hat....looks great! This could be the one i use for a thank you dinner.
