I'm not sure if you already know about this (or if it matters to you), but once you get on I-90 just east of Buffalo, you can't exit without paying a toll. They have those awful "Travel Plazas" like on the 400 to Barrie. I'd suggest grabbing a meal in/around Buffalo (depending on which bridge you're taking over) or stopping to get a good road meal before getting on 90.
