Julienne's in San Marino

I was wondering how long the wait on Saturday mornings around 9-10 at Julienne's? I went there once last year on a weekend and the wait was pretty long but I don't remember the time frame.

I'm planning out a special day for my girlfriend and I for Saturday, and I've got to be able to make a special showing for a movie in Monrovia at 12pm. I know it's all the way across the SGV from each other, but I loved Julienne's the one time I went and I want to share it with her.

I think it really varies. I've been there on Sat mornings during the summer/fall and have had to wait anywhere between 30-45 minutes. Other times, when it's winter, there was almost no wait for breakfast.

FYI - everytime I've been I've noticed that there is always a rush of people around 11. I think people like to get there for pseudo-brunch (even though the place only has a breakfast menu), and just hang out before the kitchen shutters and reopens for their lunch crowd.

The wait can totally vary, although it does seem to be more consistently busy in the warmer months. But it can still be luck of the draw, where your wait can be as little as 5 or as many as 45 minutes.

It is a bummer that they close the kitchen during the change from breakfast to lunch, and they don't monkey around. Show up at 11:16 on a Saturday (or at 10:46 on a weekday) and you won't get served until they reopen.
