Where can I find some good Portuguese Custard Tarts in North York.

      Not quite North York, but easy enough to get to if you take the Allen -- Doce Minho on Dufferin, south of Eglinton. Fantastic Portuguese bakery.

          My mother-in-law buys them at Galati on Leslie (5801 Leslie St near Cummer). They come in a package of 6.
