Friday Afternoon Food/Drinks in DC

What's a place in DC that is good for sitting outside somewhere with a couple of friends from out of town and enjoying this nice weather on a very early Friday afternoon?

I would see if you can sit outside at Taberna del Alberdero and enjoy their 1/2 off sangria and tapas deal (I think it starts at 2pm but I'm not positive). I can think of nothing better than sitting outside enjoying some of thier delicious croquettes and some white sangria on a warm summer day.

Other places to consider: the lovely outdoor courtyard at Tabard Inn, PS7 (you can access their happy hour deal even in their outdoor patio), Poste, Bourbon, Hank's Oyster Bar, and Sonoma.

I second PS7. Excellent appetizers and drinks - try and get their bread basket too if you can!

Taberna is also very good and a great deal. Last time I was there I think the happy hour started at 3pm.
