Sea Island Area

We are going to Sea Island next month, staying at the Cloister, but we do not want to eat there. We have a car and we are looking for good, local restaurants. Thanks.

Cargo, in Brunswick, is open for dinner. We had an excellent meal there last year. Make a reservation if you go.

There is a good italian restaurant next door to the Bonefish Grill, right across from the airport, It would be very conveniently located for you. And I like Bonefish Grill as well. I am certain someone will reccomend the Red Barn, but I would advise against it. Barbara Jeans is okay, it's cheap.

Christies & Delaneys are the best with Halyards & Ga Sea Grill close behind.
Southern Soul is good barbecue for lunch. If you are adventurous venture to Speeds Kitchen in Shellman Bluff about an hour away, but classic Seafood shack with fresh cheap seafood. If yuo decide to go call ahead for a stuffed flonder because it takes close to an hour to cook, also pack a cooler they do not serve alcohol. For steak either Bennies or Frederica House I prefer Bennies, but service can be spotty recently even for cutomers who have been going for 40 yrs.
