Country/rustic French for lunch or dinner

Some years back I had heard of a smallish country French restaurant in NYC, I saw a picture and it seemed like a lot of wood/stone, possibly a fireplace. I cannot remember the name or where in the city it was, but the ambiance looked wonderful. Does this strike a chord with anyone? Price not an issue. Thanks!

Hmm - I wonder if it could be Mas, which I recall having a lot of stone. Or maybe Le Refuge?

La Luncheonette (10th Ave/18th)? Doesn't look like much from the outside, but in the evening it is always cozy and romantic inside and I think they have a fire place.

I wonder if you are referring to La Mangeoire, on 2nd Ave. in the low 50s. Take a look at the pix on their website.
