kid-friendly, outdoors, parking in boston?

Hi chowhounds,

Hoping you can help me out. My roommate from college is flying into boston with her husband and toddler (under 3) and want to meet for lunch on friday somewhere in boston.

They want me to suggest a kid-friendly (possibly outdoor seating) place where they can park the car and then drive out onto 93 south fairly easily to hit the cape

I have no idea since i have no kids. Any ideas?

Sel de La Terre at the Aquarium. There is a big parking lot, it's right off 93 and they have outdoor seating looking at boats to distract the kid.

I was thinking Gaslight or Rocca. Depends on time, not sure if they serve straight thru from lunch to dinner so late afternoon may not work. Very close to 93. And of course Speeds, ha ha. Altho just further down is the Victoria Diner w/ parking. No outdoor seating tho.

Eastern Pier (Chinese) on the waterfront might work. It is literally within site of the Rroute 93 entrance sign (give or take a hundred yards).

Or maybe The Daily Catch in the federal courthouse on the waterfront?
