West Orange NJ - help!

I don't know if this is the correct board, but here goes! I have to take 10-13 people out for a buisness dinner in Northern NJ. They are coming from Middlesex County, Passaic County, Essex County and Hudson County. It was suggested that West Orange is a nice area and rather centrally located. I need a place that will allow for private dining, easy to get to, and has good parking. I would like to keep the cost at $35 pp (plus tax and tip), not including alcohol. Since I know nothing about the New Jersey area, I really need your help. Thanks in advance.

Rockpile, while I know of some good places in West Orange, I'm not so sure any of the ones I am thinking of would be able to do $35 pp. Maybe Pal's Cabin, which is popular but nothing super exciting. You might want to consider Montclair, which is next to West Orange and is filled with quality restaurants (Corso 98, Blu, Indigo Smoke, Sesame, Epernay would all probably be able to accomodate you). There are others too. But most are BYOB. If you really wanted a place that served alcohol, you could consider Egan's in Montclair that is a bar/restaurant with pretty good, slightly fancier pub food. Hope this helps.

Libretti's in Orange would also work...in the price range you are looking for and does have private dining areas also....Have never ever had a bad meal there
