Will be in Montauk for 3 nights in a couple of weeks. Haven't been there in many years. Looking for dinner recs...good food, whether high priced or low, if a view all the better. Thanks.

I really enjoyed Harvest on Fort Pond. The portions are double sized, so its not as pricey as it initially appears. Lovely view of Ft Pond.

I'll second that -Harvest is my favorite place in Montauk by far.

Harvest is really good for two or three couples, since the portions are monstrous and it is served family style for everyone to share. For one couple, if you order more than one main course you will have lots of leftovers to bring back to your room.

I am going to post shortly a night by night review of our time in Montauk. Personally since we are just 2, I have never done Harvest, Just doesn't make sense for 2 with the family style set up and there are several other wonderful places to go.
One is ENE or East by Northeast owned by the same people as Harvest. It's a little upscale but you can still dress down if you like. Lovely view of Ft Pond Bay too.Look for my post in the next couple of days...

I went as a couple and had a great meal so I don't think that is an impossible feat at Harvest. You and the other person would have to agree on the same dishes though.
