I've just been taught how to load photos onto my computer, but they're too big to post on Chowhound. How do I make them smaller (less than 2 MB).
Thanks!

GG - Have you tried to upload one of your photos to Chowhound? I think if you just go through the process the photos will post at the correct size. I've never had a problem with size here. If you have difficulty posting the pictures, send them to me via Gio142@gmail.com and I'll resize them for you and return them to you to post.

If they are over 2 MB, you can't attach them.

I use a PC, and just open the photos in Microsoft Office Picture Manager. If I click on a saved photo, it automatically opens it in that program. There's an edit button there, and then you can resize. I usually reduce to 25% of original size, save, then attach to the post. Good luck!

That's helpful, thanks. I don't know if we have Microsoft Office Picture Manager but will ask Mr GG about it.
