Wedding or Hall Venue with Indian Caterer?

MissDarling Aug 19, 2008 12:10 PM

I'm looking for a wedding venue in the GTA that can serve good, authentic Indian food.

The wedding is for 250-300 people.

Thanks so much for your help!

His MissDarling, what did you end up going with? I'm looking for the same thing as you were a few years ago. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

So many Indian weddings get catered by The Host. But when I married my Indian wife downtown, we used St. Lawrence Hall and just had the trays of food walked down from Bombay Palace just up the street on Jarvis. Worked out very well.

A good friend of mine is actually looking for an Indian Caterer as well. He's been looking at a few options:

Bombay Bhel, Bombay Palace, Jaipur, Cuisine of India..

Any reviews? Suggestions?? Please help. Thanks!

I had my wedding in May at Pearson Convention Center - Airport Rd and Steeles. Our caterer for the reception was Cuisine of India (they are in the Yonge/Finch area)...the head chef did a FABULOUS job...we had table service for dinner with pots of curries, naan and rice at the tables for everyone at each table of 10 to share. Food came out hot and tasty and we got awesome feedback from everyone.
