D.C. Area Recs., Please

Can anyone who has eaten fairly recently in Eli's, Pomegranate Bistro, and the restaurant in the JCC, please rate them in order of your preference. I'm hoping that there will be more than one response, so I can get a consensus. Please share any details as well, and add other recommendations, particularly also good dairy choices, and snack places.
We will be staying in the Thomas Circle area of D.C. If you can, please include approximate travel times from there to any of your recommendations.
