Are there any good savory pie shops in Toronto? Specifically Melton Mowbray?

That's right where I grew up. Should be nostalgic. Thanks for the info.

There's a vendor at the Saturday farmers mkt at St. Lawrence Mkt (North) that sells savoury pies. We bought a beef & mushroom pkg of 2 small pies. They were yuuuummmmy.... There're other types of pies too. I don't remember their name but they are located around the southwest corner of the hall, near the health food store.

Summerhill Market has some good pies...steak and kidney, steak and mushroom...they are "famous" for their chicken pot pies. They have small and larger sizes. Good pastry and lots of filling...

Yes! Summerhill's chicken pie is amazing. Fabulous crust also. I have one at least once a week.

You can get Melton Mowbray pies at Strickland Meat on Greenwood, although haven't tried them myself.
