Has anyone been to Via Vanti at the Mount Kisco train station?

I went to Via Vanti last night and was very impressed. The selections were different and creative and everything we had was great. It was a little pricey but since everything was delicious I didn't mind. My husband and I split a salad, the paesano, excellent, and they were nice enough to split it onto two plates for no extra charge. We than shared a panini (they use a different name, I forget it now) with asiago cheese, fresh basil, etc. delicious, and the hummus platter, also great. We topped it off by sharing the dessert pizza, also delicious with nutella, fresh fruit, espresso beans, etc. We each had seltzer with dinner and the bill was around $60 even with splitting everything. The owner is very friendly and stopped by twice to see how everything was. Our server was also very friendly. I've been waiting to try this place and I'm glad I finally did - it was wonderful!

Thanks! Was it crowded when you were there? I'm a bit sorry to hear it's that pricey - I was hoping that could be a truly inexpensive night out (and given that we'd have wine, once we add that in plus a babysitter... inexpensive it doesn't sound) - but still glad to hear how tasty it was - looking forward to trying it!

It wasn't too crowded when we went - but we went on the more earlier side, probably around 7pm on a Friday. Some of the wines were very $, like $11 for a glass, etc. but there was one that was $8 I think. But the food is good, not so much an inexpensive night, like you said, but a yummy night at least! :-)

It is deliscious!! We had 4 different things and each on was better than the next. You wont find spaghetti and meatballs oor other similar dishes on the menu. It is a more authentic menu you would find in Italy. I cannot wait to go back, I have a long list of things I want to try!!
The service and atmosphere were also very good, the staff was VERY nice. I highly recommend going, the selections on the menu are not to be found anywhere else locally

I'd love to hear more reviews of this place - anyone else? We stopped in one night but they were getting ready to close.
