Best Steak Tartare in Boston area?

Now that I can no longer order the steak tartare at 9 Park any thoughts of other places in the Boston area that offer an exceptional tartare? I enjoy the ESK version (in fact I have enjoyed it twice over the last week) and I also like the Butcher shop version (although I don't think it is as good as the 9 Park Cafe version). Any others that are recommended?

    Ok, not tradt'l ST, but we liked the Yook Hwe at Wuchon in Union Sq., Somerville.

      My favorite two come from the steak houses, and it is pretty close: 1) Capital Grille; and 2) Abe and Louie's. While neither has the traditional egg presentation - mixed in table side or there for your combining, both taste extremely fresh, come with excellently prepped condiments and have wonderful flavor. My slight lean is toward CG.

        Brasserie Jo probably has my favorite traditional version. The kitfo at Addis Red Sea is also lovely. I thought No. 9's was overseasoned, and Gaslight's version is just awful.

              I have sat at the bar and had a very good Tartare from Locke-Ober.
