Cleveland Rocks...the conclussion
ended up at bar centro sat night and i am glad we did. great service (nicole is a fun waitress), really good food, fun atmosphere. not much else you can ask for. i would have to say the pizza we had was among the best i have ever had for a thin crust style.
we had antipasto plate - nice meats, cheese, peppers and bread. the pizzas as i mentioned were superb! we had some fresh sides of ohio tomatoes with olive oil and salt, and the fries with mayo. all great, all fresh, loads of wine, and a good time. we kept the party rocking at great lakes brewery till the early morning.
aside from the crak dealers bugging me when i got there, i had a good time! i only had 1 full day, but downtown was pretty quiet, i guess we missed the happening parts of town although we were in ohio city sat night. but a fun place, friendly people and good eats.
my vote - cleveland rocks!

great choice. i haven't been, i've only been to BIER MARKT, the belgian beer bar next to it, but i consistently hear great things about BAR CENTO. of course great lakes brewery brews rule the world, so you picked another good choice!
fyi downtown has has a lot of construction and rehabbing going on at the moment and unfortunately afterwork streetlife is somewhat pocketed or event oriented at the current time. however, for next time, the downtown mini-neighborhoods of gateway, e4th st & the warehouse district all have plenty of restaurants & nightlife.
