Blue Ribbon Bakery, Jane, or Cookshop for Brunch?

I'm planning a brunch for 6 people in a few weeks, and deciding between Blue Ribbon Bakery, Jane, and Cookshop (and any other recommended places!). We're all 30-somethings and budget is @$30-40pp. Of these three places, what should I pick? Any other places worth considering? Downtown (E or W) preferred. One friend is vegan, so that's also something to consider.
Thanks!

Your vegan friend is going to have a very limited selection (1-2 items) at ALL of these places.

    1. I just went for dinner at Blue Ribbon Bakery last evening. It was wonderful. However, I don't know what their brunch is like, but it might be a over your $30- $40 budget. It was however, the best dining experience I have had in Manhattan in awhile. They really know how to treat you right. We sat in the down stairs bakery area. Really really great food, wine and hospitality.
