Brascole

Hope I spelled it correctly - my MIL made the best beef rolls in tomato sauce any idea where I might find them in Manhattan??? I think she tucked in some raisins but I'd be happy with good brascole at any good Italian restaurant -

    Braciole.
You can find it at bar stuzzichini. Short Rib Braciole.

Lupa makes an outstanding bracciole. Faicco's is a good suggestion if you want to cook them at home.

Pino's, Florence and Faccio all carry them. Faccio's I believe is pork while Florence and Pino will do either. The guys at Florence will roll the meat with raisins if you ask.

I think pup means Florence Meat Market on Jones. Has it closed?

Do you want to make them? My favorite Italian butcher in Manhattan is Pino on Sullivan, just south of Houston. He will prep your braciole for you, perfectly.

I don't have any restaurant suggestions, but I believe Faicco's on Bleecker carries them if you were inclined to cook them at home.

I think it's braciole - in case searching might bring up some more suggestions.
