To refrigerate or not?
I bought some of those spray salaad dressings (an italian one and a balsalic one) If i dont refrigerate them after opoening what will happen and are they ook to use?
I believe spray cans are an aseptic environment - I know I've never refrigerated any aerosol or pressure-squirt items except for whipped cream, and that was just to keep it cold. We have cans of EZ Cheese that have lived on a shelf in the laundry room since a party last Labor Day, Mrs. O taking little squirts of cheese-like product from them now and then to top a snack cracker, and the couple of them that still have some left in them will be at this year's party. Is that a sufficient answer?
I would refrigerate them, they are basically the same as regular salad dressings, but with a spray top instead of a pour. They will last much longer in the fridge.
