KC hounds: anyone seen green plums yet?

I'm on the hunt for succulent, deliciously balanced sweet/acid plums, namely a green variety like Greengage (also known as Reine Claude) or perhaps Emerald Beaut. These are late ripening varieties, and might not yet be in the farmers markets, but am wondering if anyone knows a source here in the KC area. I had some fantabulous ones late August/early September last year while in San Diego, and can't get them out of my mind.

Thanks in advance.

  1. at the river market today, saw none. the price chopper in roeland park has pluots. last week i bought two kinds. watermelon pluots and regular pluots(?) both were very tasty! and the watermelon pluot was so pretty! so go there for green plums and if they have none, leave happily with something equally delicious and edible.
