Labor Day weekend in Wareham, MA
Ok, but the only places I know are very caj, shacks or nearly so. Buzzards Bay Lobster Pound on Main St along the canal--I think this is the place I've been--on the right just as you come off the rotary under the Bourne Bridge heading toward Buzzards Bay. It's a seafood store, but they give tastes and have some ready to eat items. And sometimes I stop at another seafood store in Wareham Center which has some ready to eat and a couple tables: Dawson Seafood on Main St.
And it's been a while, but I think you can get a decent lobster at a good price at Lobster Pot on Route 6, Wareham, very rough lobster pound, not sure I'd order anything else. There are two places, one is Lobster Bowl, more an old-style restaurant, but the one I've been to is Lobster Pot.
After cycling on the canal, my daughters like to stop at Krua Thai, really just a shack, very inexpensive, but good for hungry cyclists. For a nicer place I keep recommending Stir Crazy across the bridge on Route 28 in Bourne. I've been stopping there for years when I'm in neighborhood, one of my faves.
