Food Market at MGM Grand at Foxwoods

  • 3

Does anyone know what are the restaurants in the Food Market at the new MGM Grand? We're heading there soon, and we can't find that information anywhere.

  1. Except for Durgin Park it's pretty strange that the MGM Foxwoods website doesn't even bother to name the establishments in their Food Market. Here's what I was able to dig up online:

"The Food Market offers an exciting culinary journey through six distinct dining experiences including hand-tossed wood oven pizza, classic New York-style deli specialties, an American burger bar, Asian fare and scrumptious New England favorites from the Durgin Park Oyster & Chowder Bar."

That's all that I found, too. Maybe someone out there has been recently and knows....

Everything is pretty average there is nothing exceptional. I don't even remember the other establishments names, but there is a bakery, italian place (pizza doesn't look like anything exciting) sicilian and hand tossed styles with some other choices like meatballs, garlic bread. Asian restaurant has beef and vegatables, general tsao chicken, orange chicken. A deli, a grill place and the chowder and raw bar. Kind of reminded me of a mall food court. The seating area is not the greatest either. I guess this place is great for a quick lunch if you don't want to head over to foxwoods or Junior's. All of the other restuarants in MGM do not open until 3 or later I believe.
