Christmas Dinner in Durham Region?
Hi, I'm moving to Uxbridge Ontario in the Durham region in September and I need to find a good place to have Christmas Dinners. I live in Toronto's Jane and Bloor area presently and so my family always walked to the Old Mill and had a lovely Christmas buffet there complete with log buring wood fire. I think my whole family sole upset with us moving is these Christmas dinners. Could anyone please recommend a great place for a Christmas Dinner near Uxbridge? Could be Port Perry, Stoufville, Newmarket or any neighbouring areas too. Thanks for your help!
I've never been to it, but the Tin Mill in Uxbridge is supposed to be a lovely restaurant. Here's a Toronto Star article that featured them:

I'd give them a call and see what they do for Christmas dinner.

CHristmas & Mid August, sounds like a bad song!! Why not move, learn what the locals have to say, and especially, seriously seek a place in early, late November, a place with it's doors still open at Christmas. Not being negative, but time and reality have to be taken into context. For Example, maybe the very best choice is in the process of being sold to a Real Estae Developer, etc. You're right to start your search early, and don't even think of those last minute folks wondering why they have nowhere to go!!

I've not been there so you may have to check it out before you commit to a Christmas dinner but there's a restaurant in the HighFields Inn just north of Uxbridge in Zephyr called La Vie. It looks pretty good in the pics.
