Watsonville?
I will be staying in Watsonville for Historics Race Weekend and would like a recommendation for Dinner. We already have plans for 2 of 3 nights. A few years ago we ate in great place that was located in a Medical Plaza Building, go figure. Does anyone know which restaurant it was. We are not looking for Mexican food.

Not a restaurant but a dessert and fruit spot we love.
We love the Strawberry Shortcake, Dutch Apple pie, Raspberry pie and Olallieberry pies. We usually get slices to eat there and take home a whole pie, yum!

oh, yeah, Gizdich Ranch pies! Just few minutes from downtown.
W'ville is a neat little town, hope you have a chance to poke around and report back.
I've seen a ribs place out by the airport--anybody know if it's good?

N.B. Watsonville is Santa Cruz County. Still discussed on the Calif board.

I recommend that you stay in Monterey after the Historic Car Race, and eat at Stokes. We went last year (to the historic car race weekend), and enjoyed our dinner at Stokes so much, we changed our plans for the 2nd night and went back to Stokes!
