Thanks, everyone. We ended up at New Dehli Palace on Colorado near Mentor. I got the vegetarian combo dinner, and my friend got the mango chicken curry. We were both pleased with the food, and my leftovers tasted great the next day. The naan was also very good. I appreciate your help in finding a place.

We usually end-up at either New Delhi Palace (save room and get a fruity dessert from TuttiFrutti downstairs!) or Sitar; my personal preference is for New Delhi Palace for service and cleanliness, like the food a bit better at Sitar but have had horrible service there. Actually, come to think of it, I might like the food better at New Delhi Palace.
Of course, I don't know diddly-squat about the authenticity of the food at either restaurant, but I know what tastes good to me.

I've been to two Indian places in Pasadena. All Star India Cafe in Old Town and Sitar on Colorado across from Laemmle's. I personally like to avoid Old Town on the weekends so I would go with the latter. Sitar was the first place I ever had Indian food and that was a good memory. Nearby also is a place called Radhika's Cuisine of India. It's next door to Green Street Restaurant and looks like a nicer ambiance if you would prefer that. http://radhikas.com/ Hope you have fun on Friday!
