Lincoln Rd Rec for theater predinner
We are going Friday to a show at the theater (old jackie gleason forget what it is called now)
we were thinking of Doraku sushi but I just read that dirty dining found them to have 7 critical violations and so don't feel like its all that appetizing. What would be good and fast on Lincoln Road before 8:00 pm showing.

M2M - I dont take much of what Dirty Dining says to heart. This is South Florida and I think its pretty normal for a place to have a few crawlies walking around. Thats just me though. Doraku is great and I like it better than overpriced Samba. Rosinella is OK but do you really want Italian before going to the theater? Id be asleep in no time.
Id recommend Le Bon. I think that place has some pretty good light dishes and the service is pretty fast. The mussel pots are great.

re: Blind Mind
There's no excuse for any violation. That's why they're violations. I wish FLA would adopt the standard used in L.A. and other places where restaurant grades are posted on every restaurant door.
But digressing, Le Bon is a most excellent idea. Go before 7 and you get any 1/2 pot of mussels + their awesome frites for $10. Tiramesu has the same deal on pastas (but as stated by BM, you may be snoozing after your meal). Service is relatively quick at both places, just keep in mind walk time, etc. when planning when to eat.

re: tpigeon
Thank you everyone! Had a great meal at Le Bon. We really enjoyed ourselves and the mussels and fries were yummy! Made it to the Filmore on time and happy. Plus we were 4 diners. Everyone ordered a different dish and were quite pleased. I love that you guys give me the best leads.
