Puffy Tacos in Clearwater/Tampa Area?

Anyone know where I can dine on Puffy Tacos here? I've watched on the food channel several places make them...I'd love to go try some Puffy Tacos.

I'm not sure what you mean exactly.
Mema's shell is great. It's actually by far the best part of their tacos. As far as I can tell it's just a deep fried flour tortilla as opposed to the usual fried corn tortilla you might be used to. Imagine the edible bowl of a taco salad.
Or do you mean a gordita which is also kind of puffy? It's more of a flat bread than a tortilla.

Puffy Tacos are a Texas phenomena. I doubt there are a dozen people here on "The Other West Coast" who know what they are or have eaten them. I have.

I just went and googled puffy tacos...so at least I know what they are now...I found a website talking about a place in Whittier California where I'm going in a week...Arturo's...will have to try them out there until we find a place in Florida.
