I wanted to cook lobster for my boyfriend's birthday but I'd rather buy a pre-cooked lobster to bring home if it will taste better. Any suggestions are to where I can purchase a good pre-cooked lobster?

Chelsea Lobster in the Chelsea Market. Citarella also has them. They're not too hard to cook though as long as you have a big pot.

The fishmongers at the Union Square greenmarket sell pre-cooked lobsters. But I don't think it will taste better than if you cooked it yourself.
