TN: 2005 Rolf Binder Heysen Shiraz

TonyO Aug 12, 2008 06:07 AM

Despite the advice to cellar this bottle for a few years, I decided to pop the cork. Wow ! This is a truly remarkable Shiraz. 14.5% alcohol in this well integrated Barossa Valley offering. The fruit is complete with a bit of toast and an great mouthfeel. A bit pricey at $60 but I have had inferior wines at a much higher price.

Oh yeah, I've had that but did not make the connection that it was the same winery.
