TN: 2005 Rolf Binder Heysen Shiraz

Despite the advice to cellar this bottle for a few years, I decided to pop the cork. Wow ! This is a truly remarkable Shiraz. 14.5% alcohol in this well integrated Barossa Valley offering. The fruit is complete with a bit of toast and an great mouthfeel. A bit pricey at $60 but I have had inferior wines at a much higher price.

Oh yeah, I've had that but did not make the connection that it was the same winery.

yeah i have a number of his wines from a few different wineries. interesting guy to talk to. Would usually grab a beer instead of wine.

    2. has this wine on sale for $26.00/bottle. Don't wait, it will be gone soon.
