ok...i'll bite...
Best Chowdah...Brewster Fish House 6A for clam and mussel, Wimpy's in Osterville for quahog.
Pizza....Palios Main St. Hyannis for traditional brick oven Italian, George's Harwichport for Greek pan style, and Sweet Tomatoes, Sandwich for super thin Neopolitan (must eat in store...doesn't travel)
Fried Clams....Cooke's Hyannis, Marathon West Dennis, Sir Cricket Orleans...honerable mention: Sesuit Cafe for the view of the jetty and harbor in E. Dennis.
Italian...Villa Roma Harwichport basic red sauce, Albertos Hyannis Northern Italian, and our favorite restaurant by far, Tomatoes on Rte 130 in Sandwich
Burgers....Pan D'Avignon Hyannis, Barby Ann's Hyannis (do not order ANYTHING other than a burger here)
Seafood...Too many to list..Brewster Fish House does it best, Abba for fancy and good (good meat dishes too), 28 Atlantic in Harwichport (Wequasett Inn) for very fancy and very good.
Lobster Rolls.....Make your own, 1 lb fresh cooked lobster meat (any decent fish market has it) a bit of mayo, a bit of chopped celery if desired, and a grilled top-split New England style hot dog roll. Makes four good sized rolls. Couldn't be easier and you'll never have better.

Pizza- Georges in Harwich Port. Greek style, an institution
fried clams - Kreme Kone in Chatham or Dennis
Italian - 902 Main St. in S. Yarmouth
Seafood - depends on sit down, take out, in the rough
lobster rolls Friendly Fisherman in Eastham and Sesuit Cafe in Dennis
Try Sea Grill in Harwich Port. We used to go there often. Avoid Brax Landing unless it's for drinks.

902 Main closed some time ago.

902 is indeed open. I dined there in early June. It is run by the owner's of Gerardis. Happy eating..

902 Main St, the restaurant, is no longer open. 902 Main St the address, is of course still there. It houses the new location of Girardi's Cafe, formally in Dennisport. Got that? lol

Actually Gerardi's was in West Dennis. Got that?? The address remains 902 Main St. and they serve lovely Italian to get back to the reader's question.

I stand corrected...West Dennis it was. My point, sorry if it seemed flip, was that anyone looking for the fine restaurant that was named 902 Main, will be disappointed to find it out of business. Girardi's is good in it's own right, however, and has taken over that location.

Best Chowder: Captain Parker's
Best Lobster Roll/Fried Clams: Marathon
For something different, try Abbicci's for upscale Italian, Brazilian Grill in Hyannis. We tried Ocean House last year, good seafood, great for sitting at bar and slurping oysters.

All are great recs from knowlegable folks. The only exception in my opinion is Capt. Parkers chowder. Recent reports here called it milk with clam bits. But I was never fond of it in it's 'award winning' days either.

The best chowder I used to enjoy was at Bramble Inn when they used to do lunch. I wonder if they serve their lovely chowder at dinner? The previous owner told me her secret..Brewster Fish House has a lovely Billibi. Mom dined there last week and was not impressed and it used to be her fav spot. She had a lousy scallop lunch. It's a cute setting if you can get a table.

Cooke's in Hyannis and Mashpee is #1 for clams by far. As good as the clam box in Ipswich. They have great chowder too and they are always #1 in the Clam polls the magazines and newspapers do.
