want farm fresh and wholesome on our way to Chepachet RI In less then 2 weeks. Any great ideas on I think it is Route 44 the pretty way from FFD county to RI, thanks very much!!!

Hi-I'm not from that area but my inlaws are. My suggestions for you are:

It's a very cute place with indoor and outdoor seating.
Also let's see, I've eaten at The Courthouse in downtown Putnam (bar/grill type joint) decent. I've eaten at 85 Main (very good, a little pricey compared to the others mentioned) and the last place is completely no frills but tasty: Nikki's dog stop (or hut or something like that). Which is also in downtown Putnam as are the other joints.
