Stephanie's new venture in the South End
It has now been confirmed (via Boston Globe) that Stephanie's will open a second location in the old Garden of Eden spot. They will be serving a similar “sophisticated comfort food menu, but with a more refined and creative, international bent."
Hmm.. I certainly hope it's an improvement from their Newbury Street location.

I hear they're asking for a 2am license, though I suspect the neighbors won't be very happy with that idea.

No neighborhood needs another Stephanies

A friend had lunch at the bar at Steph's this weekend and was told it would be a smaller plates concept. I'm not sure if it's true small plates or just small in proportion to the enormous plates of food that they give you at Steph's on Newbury. Just what we need is another overpriced/small plate establishment in the neighborhood.
