Best fried chicken in Manhattan?

I've been told Blue Ribbon (in SoHo) but I know there's some stiff competition.

It's for a date tomorrow night. I'm hoping it won't be too expensive (Strip House cost me $250 on the last date so I'm happy to go cheap-n-cheerful this time) or too unhealthy (decent oil and sides).

Any thoughts, hounds? Much appreciated.
