Low-acid coffee?

Has anyone seen this for sale (ground) in town? I've bought it in the states, and have looked in a couple of places here, but no luck so far.

  1. Acidity or perceived acidity in coffee depends on the coffee's origin, processing method, roast level, and brewing method. Kenyans and other East African countries produce high acidity coffee in general, while South Asian countries like India are usually characterized by low acidity. If the info is available on the label (though it's usually not), dry or natural processing create lower acidity levels than wet processing. Similarly, darker roasts are less acidic than lighter roasts. Finally, you can control acidity a bit depending on how you brew your coffee, emulsion brewing like French Press or Percolater will create cups with higher acidity than drip coffeemakers. Hope that helps, even if it's not the answer I imagine you were looking for.

PS: Sorry if that was way too information about coffee acidity, I've been researching it while trying to figure out the best way to brew coffee cold which also eliminates almost all the acidity. That's probably for another post though :).
