<content>This new restaurant has a standard Italian/Pizza menu and a Brazilian menu.

There are specials each day (Comida Brazileira $10). They are served with rice beans, farofa, canned corn and salad.

The lasanha is the Brazilian version of lasagna. It has ground chuck, cubed ham, hard boiled eggs, tomato sauce, parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese.

The tomato sauce is creamy and slighly sweet, sort of like Chef Boyardee. It reminded me of the tomato sauce in the Portuguese dishes at Hong Kong cafes.

The egg is ground up and is more textural. It was pretty good lasagna. This is the only dish that is stand-alone. However, since it was my first visit, the owner gave me the sides as well. The whole beans were fine and sprinkled with farofa. Canned corn is canned corn. The salad I'm not remembering, but it was ok. Rice is plain white rice.

I also got a small sample while I was waiting of another special - carne de panela or beef stew. It was pretty typical beef-wise of all the beef I've tried at local Brazilian places which means it was solid and not tender-stewy. It had a nice tasting sauce.

They do something that I thought was clever. The menu lists the x-tudo as a cheese tudo which is close to how x-tudo is supposed to be pronouced. This Brazilian burger has burger, bacon, hot dog, cheese, eggs, lettuce and corn ... $7.50 with fries

I haven't tried it yet but my mind reels at the thought of fries with this hearty sandwich. I'll probably ask them to sub salad.

The owners are very nice. The place is in the same location as the ill-fated and missed by me, Pollo-Mex. The pizza place that moved in after that didn't last too long. The decor hasn't changed (there's a new paint job).

The Italian menu is online (see Place link below). The pizza is the puffy sort that most Brazilian place seem to make. It is sold by the slice starting at $2.50. Adding a can of soda is 50 cents. So three bucks for a large slice and soda seems a deal. Haven't tried it yet.

Some usual and different dishes on the Brazilian menu. No feijoda currently because the owner said he thought it was more of a winter dish. Some of the dishes have tumeric sauce which I haven't seen before. Here are the dishes using the Portuguese way of numbering week days to indicate the day they are serving (Sunday = 1)

Bife aceboladeo - thin cut steak with onions (every day)
Bife strogonofe - beef stroganoff (2)
Carne de panela - beef stew (2, 5)
Fetticcine con frango - chicken fettucini (5)
